You must enroll for medical coverage in order to elect the dental, term life, disability and vision insurance benefits. The weekly premium will be automatically deducted from your paycheck. After enrolling and your first deduction, you will be mailed a personalized ID card that you can use when visiting doctors and hospitals. Network providers have agreed to negotiated price discounts and they will file claims for you. If you don’t have access to a network, that’s okay too, as there are no out-of-network penalties. However, negotiated price discounts are only available with network providers.
